Coaching Certificate
Michigan Tech's Coaching Endorsement Certification Program helps students prepare to coach an individual or team sport in a school setting, recreational, or club. The 12-credit program includes classes in athletic training and sports psychology.

Course requirements
Required Courses

• EH 3010 (3) Sports Psychology (f, s, su)
• EH 3020 (3) Foundations of Coaching (f)
• EH 3050 (3) Introduction to Athletic Training (f, s)
• EH 4100 (2) Coaching Practicum (f, s)

The student will assist with a sport activity of their choice for 40-60 hours. Subject to approval of the endorsement advisor and upon completion of the academic classes listed above, they will assist a head coach at Michigan Tech, at a school, or other team situation.
